REMEMBER !!! The Research Paper is due on March 13th. A typed copy is due at the start of your class that day, and a copy must be submitted to Turnitin.com by Midnight, March 13. No printing from jump drives - no emailed copies! Turn in your paper, your thesis statement, your introductory paragraph and your five, handwritten body paragraphs - put all in your folder.

2/20/09 Two-page, typed free write is due. During class you will pick out 5 or 6 main ideas from the free write. Write them on notebook page 13 and then put the minor ideas from the free write under one of the main ideas.

You need five main ideas or topics which prove your thesis Each paragraph of the Research Paper should have eight or nine sentences. Assignment for Friday - complete the freewrite assignment and turn in a typed, double-spaced copy. The assignment should cover two full pages with no bullets, paragraph breaks, or extra blank spaces. Read Chapters 9 & 10 in class and discuss.
